So I sent one of my most favourite gypsy dresses off to get copied and this is the result!! Each one is completely unique as the fabric is recycled vintage cotton saris! The fabrics are so soft and floaty and the sleeves are shaped into balloon sleeves with elastic cuffs. The neckline is low and has tassels hanging from it! This is dress heaven !! Modelled by Megan, one of our lovely regular customers 🌸🌸🌸 💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕💕
Here are just a few of my favourite pieces found while travelling around Rajasthan, who would of thought that original indian wear would be so cool to wear and looks so great right now!! I can't wear anything without a hat and I find this look always works best with a fedora of some sort. The black velvet waistcoat has gold embroidery and is an old 70's piece, the red embroidered cape I think is older maybe 60's but its also a beautiful piece, and the wine coloured embroidered Kaftan looks great brought upto date with this cool hat and chunky...
The Misty dress has arrived! Super excited about the arrival of this bohemian gypsy style dress!! Made from a heavy rayon fabric that feels like a smooth heavy cotton, the embroidery is embroidered banjara fabric from India. The bottom part is so floaty and great for twirling. The embroidery part comes in 5 different prints! Also the gorgeous necklace on the model I picked up in an antique shop in Jaipur, India and is also available along with some other stunning old indian Jewellery pieces for the gypsy lover 💗💗💗
Some of the fabulous pieces I picked up while I was in India, the top is heavily beaded and is quite old! Lots more similar pieces in store - but all one of a kind. The shawl can be worn as a cape or thrown around your neck, personally I love it over my sofa as the print and colours are just too nice. Banjara bag is also handmade and available to buy! I'm working with a family in India who have these old banjara fabrics!
